Is there parking on site?

There is no private parking at Ezra. There are paid lots on the nearby streets, and in the evening you can usually find blue-and-white street parking in the area.

How do I get there by public transport?

The light rail Red Line stops at Salame and Eliphelet stations, a short walk away. In the evening it is the easiest way to get here, especially if you plan on drinking.

Is there a cover charge?

Most open nights are free entry, on a first-come basis. For nights with live music or a special event we recommend leaving your details in advance so we can make sure there is room.

Do I need to reserve a spot for an open night?

Not required, but worth it. The space is intimate and seats go fast on busy nights, so if you are a group or coming for a particular night, leave your details and we will hold a spot for you.

Can I book the whole place for a private event?

Yes, and it is most of what we do. One event per evening, up to 50 guests, and the whole space closes for your group. All the event types and full details are on our event types page.

Q: How do I know if the bar is open tonight or booked for a private event?

The schedule on this page updates in real time against our own calendar. A night that is closed for a private event is marked in red, and an open night shows the opening time and the format we have planned. The bar at the top of the page also tells you what is on tonight.

Q: What food and drinks do you serve?

Food comes out of the wood-fired oven all evening: pizzas, sourdough breads, seasonal plates and something to share in the middle of the table. Alongside it a full bar with cocktails, wine and beer. The menu is dairy and vegetarian, no meat and no seafood.

Q: Is the food kosher?

The venue is not under kosher supervision. The whole menu is dairy and vegetarian, no meat and no seafood, but we do not hold a certificate and we will not present ourselves as kosher.

Q: How many people fit?

Up to 50 guests. Most groups that book a private event with us are between 20 and 50 people, and that is the size the place was built for.

Music nights on Sundays, pop-up food nights on Tuesdays. Ezra is built around a warm, easy room, sound done properly, and food worth sharing with friends - we would love to host you.

Ezra is a private bar in Florentin that also opens to the public on certain evenings. We built a room that is good to sit in: acoustics that work, lighting that does not glare, and food coming out of the tabun all evening long. On the open nights we host DJs, chefs and musicians, and entry is usually free.
