The same room, one evening. The seating is set for what happens that night, not for the room.

You have a speaker, a topic and an audience. This is the room that holds the rest.

An evening with an audience needs three things working together: a screen the back row can read, sound that reaches the whole room, and somewhere to stay once the mic goes off. At Ezra all three are already in the room, and the whole evening closes to one event.

One room where the projection, the sound, the bar and the kitchen already work together. You arrive with the content and the audience, and the rest of the evening is handled.

Four things already in the room when you walk in

Not rental gear and not an outside supplier. Each one is wired, tested and working at every event here.

01

Projection

A projector, a fold-out screen and a laptop already connected to them. Load the deck, test it before the audience comes in, and the back row can still read it.

02

Sound

Two microphones and a PA: two main speakers, a subwoofer, four monitors and a mixer. One mic for the speaker, one that travels the room for questions.

03

Bar and buffet

A working bar with Ezra's bartenders, and beside it a varied sharing buffet: pizzas from the taboon, salads, breads and bruschetta trays. The audience helps themselves before, at the break and after. You don't deal with it.

04

The room

One event an evening, no stranger's table and no parallel event. Seating is set for the evening: rows facing the screen for a talk, tables and standing room for a meetup. Up to 60 guests standing, fewer in rows.

Four formats the room is built for

Every evening closes to one event. Seating, food and drinks are arranged around what you're putting on.

For speakers who sell tickets

Talk or panel

Slides on the big screen, a mic for the speaker and a mic for questions. One evening, or a series on a recurring date.

For community managers and startups

Meetup or community night

A short talk to open, then conversations around the bar. People stay because there is somewhere to sit and something to drink.

For podcasters

Live podcast

Two microphones facing the audience and a PA for the room. The full recording gear list, including a recording mixer, is on the live shows page.

For producers and comedians

Stand-up and stage nights

A stand-up night, an open mic or a reading. A mic, a PA for the whole room, light on whoever faces the audience, and a bar open before and at the break.

A talk evening here, hour by hour

A typical talk with an audience of 50. A series, a meetup or a podcast moves the times, not the shape.

19:30Doors open, the bar is running, people sit down
20:15Opening on the mic, the deck already on the screen
20:20The talk, 40 minutes
21:00Questions from the floor on the second mic
21:20Pizzas come out of the taboon to the buffet, open bar, conversations
23:00Finish at the time agreed ahead

The talk starts 45 minutes after doors: latecomers don't walk in mid-sentence, and whoever came on time already has a drink in hand.

How an evening gets booked

1

Leave your details

Two minutes in the form: what kind of evening, roughly how many people, and a date if you have one. The date is not binding.

2

Get an offer built for the evening

One evening or a series, how long, food and drinks, what each side brings. We come back with an offer built on that, not on a fixed menu.

3

The date closes, for you only

You confirm, and from that moment there is no other event in the room that evening.

Until you see an offer, there is no commitment.

Three hesitations we hear before people book

“My audience comes to listen, not to drink”

That's why the offer is built on the format, not on one bar minimum for everyone. A ticketed public evening and a closed company evening are two different things, and are priced differently. Tell us in the form what the evening is, and you get an offer that fits it.

“I need it midweek”

Most private events here fall on Thursday to Saturday, so Sunday to Wednesday are usually the evenings that are easier to lock. Daytime is open too: an event runs 3 to 5 hours, and slots start as early as 09:00.

“60 people is too many for me”

The room works for 20 as well. A talk for 25 in close rows feels full, not empty. What doesn't work here: 100 and up.

What people say about events held here

5.0 across 196 reviews, for events held here. Most are for private events: talk evenings are new on this page, not in the room.

★★★★★

I booked a private birthday event. Eilam was perfect, she took care of every detail in the preparations. I kept bothering her and she never gave up on me, went over everything in detail and made sure we were on the same page. The place was exactly the right size, the pizzas were unreal and the food overall was amazing.

I celebrated a birthday there with about 30 friends. Stunning atmosphere, comfortable, beautiful, room to dance and a DJ stand. The owners are helpful and reliable and made the experience perfect.

Questions that come up before booking

How much does a talk evening at Ezra cost?

There is no one price, because there is no one evening. The offer is built on the format: one evening or a series, how long it runs, food and drinks, and what each side brings. Leave your details in the form and we come back with an offer.

How many people fit seated?

Up to 60 guests standing. Seated in rows facing the screen, fewer, and the exact number is settled on a call based on the seating plan.

What equipment is in the room?

A projector, a fold-out screen and a laptop connected to it, two microphones, and a PA with two main speakers, a subwoofer, four monitors and a mixer. Bring the deck as a file, or your own laptop if you prefer, and test it on the projector before the audience comes in.

Can we record a podcast in front of an audience?

Yes. The two microphones and the PA are already in the room, and the full recording gear list is on the live shows page. The recording and where each speaker sits are arranged ahead.

Can we run a stand-up night or an open mic?

Yes. A mic, a PA for the whole room, and a bar open before the show and at the break. How the audience faces the mic is arranged ahead.

Can we sell tickets?

Yes. A public evening with tickets or a closed one for invited guests. Ticket sales, price and promotion are settled on a call.

Which days and hours?

Every day of the week, midweek included. An evening usually runs 3 to 5 hours, and the slot is set to suit you, any time between 09:00 and 01:00.

Is there food and drink?

Yes. The bar runs with Ezra's bartenders, and the kitchen sets out a varied sharing buffet: pizzas from the taboon, salads, breads and bruschetta trays. The venue is not kosher certified.

Can we bring our own gear?

Yes, by arrangement. Cameras, extra lighting or your own recording gear come in once you tell us about them in the form.

Where is it and how do we get there?

Abarbanel 38, Florentin, Tel Aviv. The entrance is from the street, and there are paid parking lots nearby.

Got a speaker and a date in mind?

Two minutes in the form, an offer built for the evening, and no commitment until you see it. One event an evening: a date that closes is gone for everyone else, so open the conversation before you announce.
